Jill Ocone has been a writer/editor for Jersey Shore Magazine/Jersey Shore Publications since 2014 and a high school communications, journalism, and English teacher since 2001. She is a two-time teacher of the year and earned her Master Journalism Educator certification from the Journalism Education Association in 2018. In addition to writing, she loves yoga, making memories with her nieces and nephews, seeing new places, laughing with her family and friends, and sharing her Jersey Shore home with her husband. Jill is a proud member of The Author’s Guild, Liberty State Fiction Writers, Journalism Education Association, and the Garden State Scholastic Press Association. She served as newsletter editor and secretary of the Point Pleasant Historical Society from 2019 through 2023.
